Where you are today -- right now -- is a sum of all your actions. Or inaction, perhaps.

 

Meet Katie. 

 

This wonderful woman first stepped into our Club last May, when her husband bought her a membership as a Mother's Day gift. Truly, what a gift! As the pre-flight safety demonstration reminds, we need our own oxygen masks before we can be of any help to others. How quickly we lose sight of this.

 

After some time dabbling in classes, however, it became apparent that our schedule almost never worked with Katie's heavy schedule of work and family commitments. Familiar story, eh?

 

Where so many would throw in the towel, cancel their gym membership, or just not show up, Katie doubled down. She's been coming in for private sessions in off hours, started running again, hammers out Online Training workouts at home, and completes her Nutrition Coaching lessons in what pockets of free time she can find. Katie is a bad ass who is committed to a lifestyle that makes her stronger and healthier.

 

Today, she asked me, "Can you tell that I am working hard?" Yes, I can certainly tell as much. She gets stronger with every session. Her attitude, her confidence, and damn, that form. It all just gets better with every bit of action she takes.

 

When life gets in the way, may this picture be a reminder of what persistent and consistent action yields. Because every workout, every rep, every lesson -- it all adds up to this moment.
